Message from the Chairman
“We opened HKBK in 1997 to give every young person a fair chance at an excellent engineering education. Becoming an AI First and Quantum Ready campus is how we keep that promise for the next generation.”
Shri. C M IbrahimChairman, HKBK Group of Institutions
Dear students, parents and partners,
When HKBK College of Engineering opened its doors in 1997, our aim was simple: to give young people from every background a fair chance at an excellent engineering education. That aim has not changed. What has changed is the world our graduates walk into.
Artificial intelligence is now part of how software is written, how buildings are designed, and how hospitals and factories run. Quantum computing is moving out of research laboratories and into its first real applications. The engineers who lead over the next twenty years will be the ones who understand both, and who use them responsibly.
That is why we have committed HKBK to becoming an AI First and Quantum Ready campus. Every department will teach with AI tools and teach students how to build them. Our Quantum Lab will let students run their own circuits on real quantum hardware. And the systems that hold student and research records will move to the new quantum-safe security standards.
Technology alone does not make a good engineer. Through our Universal Human Values programme, we ask every student to think about the people their work will serve. Skill and character must grow together.
Our campus sits directly opposite Manyata Tech Park, and industry is our neighbour. I invite companies to train their teams with us, to bring us their engineering problems, and to hire our graduates.
To our students: work hard, stay curious, and look after one another. To parents: thank you for trusting us with your children's future.
Shri. C M Ibrahim
